We are pleased to announce that ExeQuantum has been engaged by State Trustees Victoria to deliver a Quantum Readiness Assessment across their digital estate.
State Trustees is a Victorian Government-owned company with more than 80 years of service, providing financial administration, estate planning, and legal services to Victorians. The nature of the data they protect, spanning some of the most sensitive personal and financial records in the state, makes quantum readiness a strategic priority.
The engagement will deploy ExeQuantum’s EQCore™ platform and CipherScout™ discovery module to map the cryptographic foundations underpinning State Trustees’ operations and deliver a clear, actionable migration strategy aligned with emerging post-quantum cryptography (PQC) standards.
Why this matters
Regulatory momentum around PQC is accelerating globally. NIST finalised its first post-quantum cryptographic standards in 2024, and government agencies across the US, EU, and Asia-Pacific are now requiring organisations handling sensitive data to assess their quantum risk exposure. State Trustees’ decision to act now positions them ahead of the compliance curve and establishes a model other public sector organisations can follow.
What comes next
Over the coming months, we will work alongside State Trustees’ security leadership to deliver a full Cryptographic Bill of Materials (CBOM), a Quantum Risk Heat Map, and a 24-month migration strategy. We look forward to sharing insights from this work as it progresses.
